About Duravit

Duravit was founded in 1817 in Black Forest, Germany by Georg Friedrich Horn. It started as a small earthenware factory but began manufacturing sanitary products such as toilets, sinks, and bidets in the 20th century.

As it expanded its operations, Duravit started buying off other corporations including the Ceramique de Bischwiller and MISR TECH in 1991 and 1999 respectively.
